It's really silly to think that just because the Voodoo engine uses a flat plane crank, that it will sound like a Fezza.

There is a distinct lack of exhaust overlap in the sound it makes, which was expected..

this is completely right. The exhaust and intake plenum have a lot to do with it. Don't forget McLarebns are flat plane too, and they sound nothing like Ferraris.
